Art & Design is my passion. David Mocarski is the principal of Arkkit forms design. Arkkit forms was founded 1982 as a highly inter-disciplinary design studio. Arkkit forms has explored projects as diverse as packaging for Baron Philippe Rothschild, France and Taylor of Old Bond Street London, explored Furniture design for DWR, (Design Within Reach), Fiam Italia, Frag, driade, Paola Lenti, OFS Brands, Ello, Galerkin and Artedi, corporate identities for Vichan Winery, Napa Valley, CrossLynn Vineyards & TKL Wines, entertainment graphics for numerous studios including Sony-Columbia-Tristar & Marvel Comics and a long list of contract, residential and exhibition spatial projects. Mocarski is known Internationally for his one-off and limited edition furniture works as well as for residential & commercial interior installations. In addition to being the principal of Arkkit forms, Mocarski is also the Chairman of the Environmental Design Department at Art Center College of Design. He has been internationally recognized for his development of the new Environmental Design program at Art Center and it’s focus on “Designing Experience”. For the last thirty-nine years, Mocarski has lectured internationally on Art & Design and his work has been documented in an extensive list of publications, blogs, & websites throughout the world. His interest in educating young creatives and mentoring them on the creative process has been well documented. For all his creative diversity, Mocarski believes in the strength of design and it’s abilities to explore innovative thinking with global perspective.
